Students will be introduced to the foundations of visual art, such as the elements and principles of design, composition, history, and criticism. Students will be challenged to solve problems using the visual language of art, while exploring various two dimensional media. Advanced students will concentrate on skill level to create higher quality work with an emphasis on self-expression and research.
