Hello, and welcome to our class website! My name is Adriane Ammerman, and I am excited to be starting my 3rd year here at Edwardsville! 

I attended Shawnee Mission Schools growing up, so I am familiar with the Edwardsville/Bonner Springs area. I attended the University of Kansas for college (ROCK CHALK!), where I earned my degree in Elementary Education. I am also in the process of finishing my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and will have that completed next summer -- yay! 

My husband is also a teacher. He teaches English at Mill Valley High School. We have been married since December of 2009, and we currently live in Shawnee.  Our son Ethan was born on December 29, and he is a lot of fun to be around!  He is a great baby boy.

In my free time, I love to read, go on walks and hikes, and spend time with my family; I am fortunate to have all my immediate family right here in town!

I am looking forward to continuing to know your students, and hopefully, learn about your families as well!  Here's to a great 4th grade year!
