The "Friends of the Foundation" auxiliary support group actively assists the standing committees of the Foundation in completing a variety of tasks that will enable the organization to financially support the districts schools, teachers and students.
Friends of the Foundation members may be involved in Programs & Allocations, Events & Marketing, and Development (including working with alumni, annual campaigns etc.).

The History of the Bonner Springs - Edwardsville The Bonner Springs – Edwardsville Education Foundation was organized in 1999. It’s vision and purpose remains the same today as it was almost 13 years ago which is to support education in our community. The Foundation’s events and fund raisers have provided the resources for numerous grants and educational undertakings. In addition the Foundation has been a source of honoring exemplary employees through its popular “Excellence in Education” award program.
Currently the Foundation is busy identifying programs of giving and participation for individuals, groups and business partners. In the 21st century an auxiliary support organization is vitally important if our students and teachers are to attain the skills and resources that are necessary to be successful in our state, our country and beyond.
We are committed to ensuring that the Foundations axiom that “The Bonner Springs Edwardsville Unified School District is a public school district with high expectations” continues at a high level. We believe that “The qualified staff and administration, well balanced curriculum and updated facilities are in a unique position to impact the students and the community.”
