NROTC Scholarship - SGT Krienko (U.S. Marine Corps) will make a presentation at BSHS after school on February 8th concerning the Navy ROTC scholarship.  Juniors and Seniors are invited to attend.  The presentation will start at 2:55 in Ms. Kemp's room (#202).

Emporia State University - The following dates are Senior dates for ESU.  You can register by visiting go2esu@emporia.edu

  • Oct. 23 - Saturday visit with optional football tickets
  • Oct. 29 - Senior visit with classroom experience
  • Nov. 12 - Senior Visit day
  • Feb. 4 - Senior Visit with classroom experience
  • Feb. 26 - Senior Visit day
  • March 4 - Senior visit day 

KU Sig Ep Scholarship - This is for male students planning to attend KU next fall.  The scholarship deadline is January 29, 2011.  You can find more information and the application at www.kusigep.com. 

JCCC Sunflower Grant Program - This scholarship is for $850. per semester.  You must; 1.  Be a first generation college student.  2.  Demonstrate financial need.  3.  Be a U.S. citizen. 4. Be entering college for the first time.  For more information you call 913-469-8500 ext 4398.

Delta Theta Chi Scholarship - This scholarship is for both males and females.  The deadline is February 1, 2010.  You can access an application at www.deltathetachi.org.  All applications should be returned to; Emily Johnson. You can email her at Emily.mersmann@hotmail.com. 

US Bank Scholarship - Forty $1,000 scholarships.  You can apply online at www.usbank.com/scholarship.

Pittsburg State University “Rumble in the Jungle” Senior Saturdays this fall are October 2 and November 6th.  If you are interested in attending Pitt State, this would be a great time to visit and find out more information.  You can sign up at www.pittstate.edu, click on Rumble in the Jungle.  PSU scholarship deadline is Feb. 1, 2011.
