The Bonner Springs Hall of Fame

The Bonner Springs Hall of Fame was established in 2006 as a program that would recognize Bonner Springs High School alumni who had made significant contributions to their chosen professions or to the Bonner Springs and Edwardsville communities. Beginning with an inaugural group of 5 in the Class of 2006, the Hall of Fame has welcomed two or more inductees each year.

Hall of Fame candidates are chosen on the following criteria:

  • The applicant is an alumni of BSHS
  • The applicant has made a significant contribution to his/her profession or to the Bonner Springs/Edwardsville communities
  • The applicant is a citizen in good standing

Recognition is awarded to each new inductee with a formal celebration historically in February. The likeness of each member is placed on a wall of honor at the District Physical Education Center.

The Bonner Springs Hall of Fame is under the guidance of the Bonner Springs – Edwardsville Education Foundation.

The Foundation is happy to announce that the newest members of this prestigious group are:

John Claxton '73

Dale Taylor '79

The recognition ceremony for Ed, Keith and Butch will take place on February 23rd at 7:15 p.m. in the District PE Center.
