My name is Aaron Miller and I am very excited to start my forth full year at Edwardsville Elementary. I wanted to give you a little background about myself. I am married and have three beautiful children. My daughter, Kennedy, is 8 years old and is in 2nd grade; my son, Blake, is 6 and is in kindergarten; and my youngest daughter, Avery Grace, is 3 years old. My wife Stacy was an elementary teacher and counselor before staying home with our children. We also have a Miniature Schnauzer dog named Karoline. I began my teaching career in the Center School district in Kansas City, Missouri. I taught Kindergarten there for 8 years. After teaching kindergarten, I was principal at University Academy in Kansas City, Missouri for 2 years. Out of a desire to work closer to my family, I sought a position near our home. In the 2008-09 school year, I was fortunate to become a part of the Bonner Springs - Edwardsville School District, serving as the assistant principal at Delaware Ridge Elementary for the first 8 months and the last 2 months at Edwardsville Elementary as the principal.
