What ages are the children? They must be 3 years old prior to August 31st
What is the criteria to be able to attend the program? Children must qualify as a low income family according to the U.S. Poverty Guidelines. Children must live within the boundaries of the USD 204 school district.
Is transportation provided? Yes, all students can be picked up and taken to school on one of the USD 204 busses. Parents may also bring their children to school. Each of the three buses have 5-point harness restraints. An aide is with the children while they are on the bus in addition to the driver.
How many classrooms are there? We have 4 classrooms with a teacher and a teaching assistant in each room. Each classroom has 17 students assigned to each room.
What are the hours? Students attend from 9:30 am - 1:30 pm. Two meals are provided each day - breakfast and lunch. |
