Miss Becky, our mental health coordinator, uses the Second Steps program as our mental health curriculum required by the Head Start performance standards. She works with the children one day a week in each classroom on a skill based lesson to improve interpersonal skills.

This research-based program feels like play but builds critical social and school-readiness skills that can help young children achieve more and get along with others. The captivating puppets, Puppy and Snail, and the sing-along songs make circle time productive and fun.
